GEM IDENTIFICATION
REPORTS: Gemstones come with an independent gem laboratory
identification / origin report. We choose to use the lab that constantly
looks at more natural Mogok and Burmese stones than possibly
any other lab. Gemstones can be grouped together on one report and a photocopy
of the identification report given to the customer. If the customer requires
a further identification report, this can be carried out at the customer's
expense. Accent stones e.g. very small surrounding stones, melee diamonds,
(found in jewelry) do not come with identification reports.

Because of the extra cost of shipping your goods may be sent via Registered Air mail.
EMS courier global delivery service reaches most destinations within 10 business days they are reliable, traceable and insurable. Signature upon delivery is required. Free insurance is provided on all parcels shipped from
Day Gems only. For auction items, the insurance fee is mandatory and paid
by the customer. An EMS tracking number will be emailed to you when your
order has been shipped.
Registered Air Mail can not be tracked online and reach most destinations in 2-5 weeks. If you are concerned about VAT or customs formalities at your destination, this is a good option. Registered Air Mail is rarely inspected and parcels are most likely to be delivered without any additional imposition of fees by your government. Signature upon delivery is required.
When purchasing jewelry that is not in stock allow
four weeks for production. Immediately notify the carrier if there is any
physical evidence of damage to the package. If the package is empty or damaged,
do not accept the package. All loss or damage claims must be reported to
us within 24 hours of discovery of the loss or damage.
CUSTOMS: In
most cases there is no customs clearance required, however if additional
charges for customs clearance takes place it must be paid by you, we have
no control over these charges and can not predict what they may be. Customs
policies vary widely from country to country, you may want to contact your
local customs office for further information.
REFUNDS: In the rare case you want to return a gem, simply
send us an email asking for shipping instructions and the reason for your
return. All returned merchandise must be sent by registered mail ONLY (no
EMS, UPS, DHL, etc...) and returned in its original, undamaged condition
for a refund or credit. Package must be postmarked within 7 days of the
day you received the stone. Shipping & insurance fees are not refundable.
